We invite you to join us in celebrating this year!

Do you envision a world of empowered citizens and communities, designing and implementing pathways to a regenerative future, while building bridges of hope and international solidarity?

Do you want to be part of this global movement that is working towards the restoration and regeneration of ecosystems and communities?

Do you want to contribute to the creation of a world living abundantly, while within its limits, a world that is regenerating rather than depleting the environment, and where cooperation and connection is rewarded?

GEN works tirelessly to support new ways of living, and we invite you to join us in celebrating some of our successes this year.  2018 is coming to an end, and this year GEN continued to work at the local, national and international levels, connecting ecovillages throughout the world, developing new learning and consulting opportunities, building capacity for local actors in different regions and presenting ecovillage development strategies to government leaders. These are a few of this year’s highlights:

This year GEN Education launched the Training of Trainers, which immediately took flight in Estonia, India and in Zimbabwe and helps us grow our network of certified ecovillage educators.
Our regions met in international gatherings in Europe, Africa, North America, Latin America and Asia, sharing best practises, celebrating Rights of Nature and strengthening ecovillage incubation and ecovillage development.

GEN participated in high level advocacy at the UN at the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York and COP24 in Poland, signing agreements with governments to support widescale adoption of ecovillage development.

GEN’s visual identity went through a metamorphosis and we continue to build on our new communication strategies to spread the innovative solutions of ecovillages with a growing audience.

These are just a few of the highlights of 2018, and 2019 promises to be full of new possibilities.

We are excited to announce now that we will host a free, online summit early next year:

"The Power of Community - Climate  Change and Consciousness,"
February 1st - 10th, 2019.

Be inspired by leading edge thinkers and activists working towards a community-led and regenerative future, including Rob Hopkins, Polly Higgins, Helena Norberg-Hodge and Christiana Figueres.

The Power of Community Online Summit aims to turn our conscious and compassionate attention towards a climate-changing world, and inspire individual and community-led action for a regenerative future. The power of community is a crucial force of transformation.

The Online Summit will be free and accessible to everyone and you can can sign up here today:
We invite you to meet the Voices of GEN, people involved with GEN throughout the world, who are working actively to bring ecovillages to a broader audience, showcasing them as seeds of hope and as solutions for climate change and the regeneration of ecosystems.
