Next years AGM

We have started to review locations and ideas for the next AGM 2018 and have spoken to quite a few members.  One option we are considering is to have the venue at a location where we can use some form of live screening to other areas, so that members around the UK and Europe can log in an listen/participate. Presently we have opened an account with https://zoom.us/

The plan to date will be to set the AGM up and the weeks before notify all members of the access code to join in on the day via ZoomUs. This will allow you to log into their website and access our meeting live and participate if you choose. We have the basics in place and will work on it in the coming months

We fully understand peoples wishes to be involved and we cannot possibly hope to get everyone in one place wherever we hold a meeting.   Updates to follow .

Following on from last months tax updates there is some good information to read on matters surrounding a tax probe here http://www.fsb.org.uk/first-voice/how-to-handle-an-hmrc-probe

If you receive a letter asking to go over your accounts, this is good information to know.

Checking latest updates on the MCA website shows that the small crafts code was updated on 20th November 2017 see link to full documents- ( have started reading but yet to see the updates but this is their latest document as you review your coding)
