They are looking for an EHS Manager. The Corporate EH&S Manager is responsible to lead the development and implementation of the Company’s EH&S including Sustainability efforts and is the top environmental, safety and industrial health content expert within the Company. The ideal candidate will lead, create and implement all elements of an EH&S and Sustainability program and culture, including the implementation and maintenance of NJFC EH&S management systems and compliance programs. S/he will ensure programs and protocols to ensure EH&S policies and procedures are updated, implemented and followed, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements enabling continuous improvement. A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering or related field is required along with a minimum 10 years occupational safety, environmental and sustainability experience in a manufacturing environment. 5 years demonstrated supervisory and management experience a plus. CSP designation preferred. AB 32 Cap & Trade experience a plus. 50% travel.

Senior Engineer - Safety, Health and Environment

At Aerojet Rocketdyne, our people further the exploration of space and keep America safe. They are looking for an Senior EHS Engineer. Under limited general direction, this senior-level SH&E Engineer will support a wide variety of SH&E compliance efforts and projects by performing engineering assignments requiring application of advanced principles, theories and concepts plus a working knowledge of related SH&E disciplines and regulations; including but not limited to development and implementation of Company and site-specific SH&E programs, procedures and initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, and/or Certified Hazardous Material Manager preferred. Advanced degree in an appropriate SH&E discipline preferred. (CTEH®) is a science-based environmental consulting firm established to provide toxicology and human health consulting services to the public and private sectors. They are looking for an EHS Manager. The Corporate EH&S Manager is responsible for championing a culture of safety within CTEH®, fostering a sense of continuous improvement that fully integrates safe work practices and continuous improvement in health and safety as a way of life. The position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety and industrial hygiene regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, implementing, administering, and bench-marking CTEH®’s Health and Safety Program. In performing such duties, the EH&S Manager will provide information to ensure that proactive, positive, and safe practices are being implemented and properly used throughout the organization. The incumbent must have the ability and potential to supervise and manage a team of safety and compliance specialists. This role will support a positive, growing, and consistent safety culture across CTEH® and ensure compliance with personnel safety and health regulations. The position ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety and industrial hygiene regulatory requirements. Minimum 10 years of EH&S experience with at least 5 years of experience in management with increasing levels of responsibility required along with an advanced technical knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial hygiene through a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Chemical or Environmental Engineering required. HAZWOPER, DISA clearance, TWIC clearance.
