Thoughts on Brain Power: As a mathematics-minded person, Brain Power opened my eyes to a lot of ideas and concepts which helped me round out my view of the world around me. Whether it be historical schools of thought, the skills of public speaking, or the connections hidden between our everyday systems of thinking, I could always count on Brain Power to show me a new perspective. I’ve had an amazing time here, and I cannot thank the program and teachers enough for helping me on this journey.
Shad Canada is a STEAM and entrepreneurship program for students in Grades 10 and 11.
The month-long program includes a real-world design challenge that asks students to work on issues such as food security, water management, and waste. This is an amazing resume-building experience that many Brain Power students have been accepted to. Please reach out to us if you would like any help or advice on the application!

Brain Power Supports the Saltfleet Stoney Creek Soccer Club andthe Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club
Brain Power is proud to be a sponsor of Saltfleet Stoney Creek Soccer Club and the Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club!
As ancient Greek philosopher Thales Miletus (620 BC) once wisely said: "mens sana in corpore sano" (though he said it in Greek, not Latin!) - a healthy mind in a healthy body.
At Brain Power we know that powerful brains work best in an active, healthy body - and we love supporting local community opportunities for youth to ensure they have just that!
We look forward to welcoming youth from Saltfleet Stoney Creek Soccer Club and Mount Hamilton Youth Soccer Club as Brain Power students in Hamilton @ McMaster Innovation Park starting January 2022!
