Dear UWA Fencing Club members, volunteers and families,
As you enjoy the holiday period, if, like me, you are already missing fencing and keen to get back to training then below is some important information as you gear up for the start of the new year. In this edition, I invite members to pay their annual fees early for a significant discount, remind everyone that open training will resume from Tuesday 11 January while Saturday training will start from 5 February 2022 and note that we will also be holding a weekend training camp for those who would like to get their 2022 fencing campaign off to a flying start!

January Training Camp
UWA Fencing Club will hold an epee camp (which will also be open to other fencing clubs) over the weekend of 15-16 January at our Claremont Gym. Details are below. Contact Coach Scott <coach@uwafencing.org> if you have any questions. More details are as follows:
Venue: UWA Fencing Club, IMAC Gym, Goldsworthy Road, Claremont
Dates and Times: Saturday 15th to Sunday 16th of January, 9am-5pm.
Ages: 13 and above
What to bring: Fencing gear, change of clothes, water bottle, lunch
Costs: $100 for the 2 days
Run By Coaches Mirek Zabiello and Scott Rawlins

O-Day 2022
Orientation day for UWA Students will be held on Friday 25 February 2022.
I would like to invite members (and particularly our student members) to start to organise to have a great O-day and ensure a strong student participation for the 2022 season.
