BECOME A SUPPORTER OF NEW AUTHORS COLLECTIVE
I've been asked by my agent Michael Cybulski, founder of New Authors Collective, to tell you a little about NAC, and to invite you to become an ambassador of our authors' works.
Since its establishment in 2015, NAC has taken on the representation of some thirty authors, of which three have been published and five will be published this year.
A big task for 2016 was creating a review panel. NAC now has 85 reviewers in five countries. The strength of the NAC model is that every work is subjected to review by a seven-member panel.
NAC is now keen to recruit 'ambassadors' who are willing to promote our authors through their own networks. inviting you to become an ambassador of our authors' works. If you are interested in reading new works before and after publication, please let me know whether as ‘Ambassador’, ‘Reviewer’ or simply as a ‘friend of NAC’, and we will include you on our list.
NAC AUTHORS HURTLING INTO PRINT
Three NAC authors were recently published. Read my blog reviews of Bill East's The Arbutus
, Sebastian Handley's Brexit: How the Nobodies beat the Somebodies
, and Anthony Carilla's Convergence
. Two more NAC authors are soon to be published:
Historical family sagas are a favourite genre in Australia, and For the Love of Patrick
by Dor Slinkard promises to be a hit. Set in Australia in the late 1800s, Dor's novel will be available August 31.
An Artifact of Interest
, due to be published on 31 July 2017, is Steve Rogers' mystery of an anthropologist's death in Australia's outback Kimberley region. Was her discovery of rock art the motive for somebody wanting her dead?
MY NEXT BOOK
The sequel to Cairo Mon Amour, with the working title of Bury Me In Valletta, is about half-way through now. I always promised myself that I'd never write a series, but somehow the characters insisted that they wouldn't fade away. They are already hinting at a trilogy, but that will be it!
