Join with us to create a new Canada~

We are a group of private health care providers.   A powerful team of Naturopathic Doctors, Registered Massage Therapists, Social Workers, Reiki Practictioners, Craniosacral Therapist, and as of this month even a holistic esthetician, and we recognize the place of privilege from which we operate our business.

We also recognize the opportunity we have for public education, due to our position as respected professionals in the community.

We practice holistic forms of healing, and as Naturopathic Doctors we use many plant medicines and rely on food as medicine, practices inherent in Indigenous forms of medicine.

We also recognize it is impossible to truly thrive in the four quadrants of health: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, when there is suffering in our environment.  Healing our environment on these four planes is also crucial to provide us as individuals a container in which to thrive.

For these many reasons we decided to dedicate this month's newsletter to ways you can increase your awareness, activism and commitment to healing our world, starting with listening to the stories of suffering and trauma that our Indigenous peoples have endured, and continue to endure as a result of our ignorance.

We also want to take this opportunity to publicly pledge our intention to step up our own commitment to giving back to the Regina community in bigger ways.  Stay tuned for the initiatives to come.

Thank you for making our world a healthier place in which we can all thrive!!

If you have been following us on social media, FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM you will have seen our recent posts chock full of ways we can increase our awareness, turn towards the people at the heart of these stories.  Listening, with compassionate hearts, freeing our minds from judgment and criticism, is the first step towards the resolution of trauma.

We will include these here for you as well:
Please take a moment to listen to Cowessness First Nation's Chief Cadmus Delorme's June 25th message to Canadians on CBC's The National.
He asks us to read the stories of the survivors of residential school and the survivors and families and friends of the missing and murdered indigenous women and girls, through reading the Calls to Action that were
co-created over the past several years.  In order to create the change necessary to heal past and present, it is essential to develop compassion as well as ignite a little of the passionate fire needed to shift injustice. We need to listen, to get educated and to read these stories written by the residential school survivors and of the missing and murdered indigenous women and girls. In this way we can no longer turn a blind eye to the abuse and suffering that continues to this day, that we perpetuate by our ignorance and inaction, if not outright discrimation.
