Locker Project of the Month

Ponderosa Elementary

Our latest Locker Project of the Month is the "Panther Cubby" at Ponderosa Elementary in Post Falls.

"The Panther Cubby is something we have come to rely on here at Ponderosa. We always stress the importance of relationships with our students, and providing them whatever they need to be successful. Sometimes that doesn't always come in the form of pencils and paper. Sometimes that means providing them with warm or clean clothes to wear. Without your help, I'm not sure we would be able to provide for that student need. So you are vital to our success.

This year we are finding that we are running very low in some key areas: boys and girls pants, boys and girls underwear (especially girls), socks for both, snow pants, and shoes for both.

Again, I cannot thank you enough for your support. The Panther Cubby is one of those projects that really shows compassion for our student population, and without you it wouldn't be possible."

Thanks,

Scott Ross

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:
Craig Zanetti

What is your current job and tell us a little about what you do?
I am an attorney at a local law firm, Amendola Doty & Brumley. My main practice areas are criminal defense and civil litigation. We are a firm of trial attorneys; meaning we are often in court litigating cases for our clients. I became a partner earlier this year, but my day-to-day job duties remain the same; advocating for my clients in court.

How long have you been a member of The Coeur Group and what is your best experience so far?
I became a Coeur Group Member in 2013. My most memorable experience has been assisting with the Locker Program. From the fundraising to the build and install at our area schools, the program allows us all to become more involved in the community and assist in benefiting the area youth.

What's your favorite moment of your career to this point?
Developing relationships with clients and watching them move past some type of legal issue to future successes. Many times an attorney is needed only due to a difficult time in a person’s life. Be it an isolated mistake, family issue, injury, or death of a family member. Watching the issue come to finality and the client moving on in a positive direction is fulfilling.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with my wife and daughter. I personally enjoy the outdoors, sports, and doing projects around our home. But as a family we enjoy all of what North Idaho has to offer and look forward to traveling more as my daughter grows up.

Why would you recommend The Coeur Group to a colleague?
The Coeur Group is group of men who get things done. I have watched projects come together and concluded in a matter of weeks and guys jumping in at the last minute to assist in some charitable endeavor. The group is full of younger community leaders who are always willing to assist, network, and problem solve. Simply put, the Coeur Group is a great resource for our community and each individual member.
