Grant donations to Locker Projects in Kootenai County exceed $10,500 in 2016

This past Fall the CG was able to do a survey with all the current schools with Locker Projects installed.

We found a greater need than we expected and realized some schools were barely self-sufficient through sponsorship from churches or local organizations. Most were struggling with the basic supply of clothing items, especially going into winter.
Our signature Locker Project is designed to house and store basic items for the kids from clothing, boots and socks to under garments and school supplies. However clothing has become the greatest need.

The CG decided it was best to Grant each school $500 towards the sustainability of their Locker Project through the Winter months and until the end of the school year. These funds will be used to obtain clothing items that are not easily stocked or available without a teacher or counselor spending their own hard earned money at local stores so these kids can come to school prepared and most of all, warm and dry.  With a total of 13 Locker Projects within Kootenai County, the CG was able to Grant $6,500 towards each school along with an additional $4,000 between Ramsey Elementary and Atlas Elementary with their newly constructed Lockers this year.

The CG is a proud member of this community and we are proud to have been able to donate nearly $11,000 back into Kootenai County in 2016.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from the Coeur Group,
Dustin Ainsworth - President

What is your current job and tell us a little about what you do?
I am a Commercial Loan Officer with Community 1st Bank. My job is to provide the best Bank financing and deposit services for your business, and take care of whatever personal financing you or your employees may need as well.
How long have you been a member of The Coeur Group and what is your best experience so far?
I have been a member of the Coeur Group for about nine months now. My best experience so far would be participating in my first locker build a couple months ago. It was really fun to build and it was inspiring to see everyone come together and work on something that will help so many kids for years to come.
What's your favorite moment of your career to this point?
It is hard for me to pinpoint one single favorite moment of my career to this point. I would say that helping people on a day-to-day basis is reward enough in itself.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy time at the lake in the summer and hunting in the fall. I also enjoy hiking and skiing with my girlfriend Caiti. There are so many recreational activities in our area and it is truly a blessing.
Why would you recommend The Coeur Group to a colleague?
I would absolutely recommend The Coeur Group to a colleague. It is such a great group of guys working on awesome projects in the community. I am very lucky to be a part of it and would encourage anyone to check it out!
