To the question “How are you?”, the reply I receive the most is, “I am very busy!”. How do never- ending meetings, travels, constantly controlled e-mails, incessant phone conversations contribute to your concentration on really important subjects? How much of your energy level are you aware of while you rush about to fulfill the daily increasing expectations of your roles which require you to perform more work with less people?
Yes, a day is 24 hours and it is impossible to change this fact. However, you may increase your resilience. This is possible through renewing your energy. How? By showing due care to spirit, body, mind, and feelings which constitute the four main source that procure your energy. All these four sources are renewed when you invest in yourself rather than giving continually from yourself to fulfill your responsibilities.
How would you like to review the questions which will enable you to self- observe and reflect regarding your life style so that you improve your resilience and thus energy?
For your physical energy, how healthy do you eat, exercise, rest and sleep?
What helps you in preserving your positive energy which is the source of your emotional energy?
In your daily work, how do you pursue meaning and value which feed your spiritual energy?
How much can you focus your mental energy to subjects which are important and of priority for you?
The more resilient you are, the more you will be able to realize your desires with liveliness and ease. What will be the small step you will take today for your resilience?
Be resilient with love,
