We are thrilled to share the newest additions to the first cohort of the Catalyst Fund. They are:
PayGo Energy
PayGo Energy is a smart meter solution and distribution system that enables customers to access clean and efficient fuel at a low price. Globally, 2.9 billion people do not have access to a reliable supply of modern energy for cooking. PayGo Energy provides smart metering technology that eliminates upfront fuel costs, enables customers to access modern fuels on a pay-as-you-go basis and allows them to monitor their fuel usage.
PayGo Energy
WorldCover is a peer-to-peer lending platform providing insurance to low-income farmers worldwide. Farmers across the globe face the challenge of accessing affordable insurance to protect against natural disasters. WorldCover offers a simple, affordable insurance product customized to farmers’ needs and encourages investors to “sell” insurance by creating a marketplace and earn a return.
PayGo Energy
Atikus seeks to improve financial inclusion for micro, small and medium enterprises (“MSMEs”) by deploying institutionally-targeted solutions rooted in technology, data and risk transference. Atikus believes that aligning a market’s financial inclusion efforts amplifies the quantity, quality and availability of the products and services required to further the MSME segment’s future growth and development.
PayGo Energy
ESCALA is a social enterprise that seeks to generate upward mobility and reduce  the inequality gap in Colombia and Latin America through higher education. ESCALA builds bridges between companies, universities, banks and low and middle-income families that cannot afford their children’s university education by providing a long-term programmed savings plan with monthly installments and tuition discounts.
