We’ll also feature a timely presentation on Alaska’s fiscal future featuring Senate Minority Leader Tom Begich, D.-Anchorage, and Rep. Healing the Divide: What are our Values?
Tuesday, April 13, 7 - 8:30 pm

Join a civic conversation on our democratic values hosted by Alaska Common Ground and Alaska Humanities Forum. Practice speaking across difference and getting to the root of what matters to you to connect with your fellow community members and strengthen our democracy.

We'll be using the values written into the Preambles of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution as a starting place to explore the things that matter to you, our nation, and each other. How are we doing, and how can we do better?

This will be a conversational space designed to connect you with fellow attendants. Please register at the zoom link and we look forward to seeing you there!

This non-partisan conversation was funded by the “Why It Matters: Civic and Electoral Participation” initiative, administered by the Federation of State Humanities Councils and funded by Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
