Message from your President
Troy Talford, WAAE President
Agriculture & Natural Resources Instructor/FFA Advisor, Sauk Prairie Schools District
It's time to CELEBRATE!!! Celebrate what you ask??? It's CTE Month! This month we are excited to promote the wonderful work that Career and Technical Education Programs are conducting. As we enter the month of February, I challenge you to evaluate if you have done anything to promote your whole program. I am not talking about having an FFA or PAS article in the paper, but the whole program (curriculum and extracurricular activities). Share your message, tell your story, and inform the public about how we are preparing students for future careers! Keep Calm and Celebrate CTE Month!

Help Share the Love + Give to the NAAE Relief Fund
WAAE Loves You! This past year our membership has put in several requests for our colleagues to receive funding from the NAAE Relief Fund. This national fund is getting extremely low and we would love to Share the Love this February to generate additional funds to help members through hardships.
What did this contribution mean to one of our members? Becky Wirkus said,"Being honored with a gift from the NAAE Relief Fund meant so much more than monetary support; it meant that my colleagues were thinking of me, which inspired hope to heal faster."
Consider donating today through the WAAE Share the Love Campaign.

STAR Teach Ag Email Survey Request
Wisconsin is pleased to be participating in NAAE’s State Teach Ag Results (STAR) Program to evaluate teacher retention and recruitment needs in our state. As a part of this project, both current and future ag educators will be asked to complete a short survey in the next few weeks. It is very important to participate so we have the most accurate data to work from as our state committee starts to look at best practices to retain and recruit our state’s ag teachers. Thank you in advance for your participation!
