Anzac Day Schools' Awards 

The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) is inviting schools to submit an entry for the 2021 Anzac Day Schools' Awards. These awards recognise the commitment of students, teachers and schools to engage with veterans and honour Australia's wartime history. The theme this year is, 'What does commemoration look like in your community?'

Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund

The Australian Government is inviting applications through a open competitive process to provide targeted funding assistance for sector organisations seeking to restart, re-imagine or create new activities. The program is intended to assist by providing funding for the presentation of activities across all art forms to audiences across Australia. Projects that target audiences in outer metropolitan, regional and remote areas will also be taken into account, as well as projects that involve tours and use local regional pre-production and production, services and support acts.

Grants-in-Aid  

The Australian Government is inviting applications through a targeted competitive process to support the role of national ex-service organisations (ESOs) to provide coordinating and representational support for the Australian veteran and Defence community.

Supporting people with cancer Grant

Cancer Australia is inviting applications through a open competitive process for Supporting people with cancer grants, Round 12, to support people affected by cancer through the provision of grants to community organisations and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations.  This will fund evidence-based initiatives to reduce the impact of cancer and better support people affected by cancer.

Local Sporting Champions

The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships.  If successful, applicants will receive $500-$750 towards the cost of attending their championships.

Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program

The Australian Government is inviting applications through an open competitive process to apply for grant funding under the Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program, designed to preserve Australia’s wartime heritage; involve people around the country in a wide range of projects and activities that highlight the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service personnel in wars, conflicts and peace operations; and promote appreciation and understanding of the experiences of service and the roles that those who served have played in shaping the nation.

Community Building Partnership

The 2021 Community Building Partnership grant program is now open for applications for community infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes while promoting community participation, inclusion and cohesion.

Regional Events Acceleration Fund 

Regional Events Acceleration Fund is now open for applications. The Regional Events Acceleration Fund helps organisations to bring new events to their region and make existing events even bigger and better. 

The types of events eligible for funding include:

  • major sporting and lifestyle events
  • major food and beverage events
  • major music, art and culture festivals.

Stronger Country Communities Fund 

The Stronger Country Communities Fund, Round 4, is open to eligible applicants.  Funding this round will go to towards projects that deliver and enhance women's sporting facilities, including change rooms and other high-quality community and sports-related infrastructure projects.

Heritage NSW - Emergency Works Grants 

The Emergency Works Grants are open all year round to eligible applicants and subject to available funding.  These grants support the protection or repairs to declared Aboriginal Places, items listed on the State Heritage Register, or items with a current Interim Heritage Order that have been damaged by unexpected events (such as an extreme storm or accident) and where your insurance does not cover this cost.

NSW Environmental Trust Grants

The NSW Environmental Trust provides funding through a contestable grant programs for a range of community, government and industry stakeholders to deliver projects that conserve, protect and rehabilitate the NSW environment, or that promote environmental education and sustainability.

Westfund Community Grants Program

Westfund Community Grants Program, Round 1, are now open for organisations that do great work in the community. The Program is based on three simple pillars at the heart of the Westfund community: Health and Wellbeing, Family and Community, and Fit for Life.

Future of Work Program

The Future of Work Program is a joint initiative between  BHP and the Australian Government, Department of Education, Skills and Employment.  This program is designed to prepare people to become the regional workforce of the future. It will create 1,000 skills development opportunities by funding students undertaking short courses and advanced apprenticeships in key regional areas.

2021 NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2021 NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards. The Awards celebrate and recognise the efforts and the personal contribution of the state's volunteers. They are a reminder to communities and the civic leaders of the true value of volunteering.

The PPCA Performers' Trust Fund

The PPCA Performers’ Trust Foundation provides grants to promote and encourage music and the music-related performing arts.  Grants must be for one or more of the following purposes:

  • Performances at concerts at or for charitable institutions such as hospitals or homes for the aged;
  • Scholarships for the promotion and encouragement of musical and theatrical education;
  • The promotion and encouragement of the performing arts to the general public;
  • The aid or assistance of any beneficiary who is unable to adequately maintain herself/himself by her/his own exertions and other income

The Dylan Alcott Foundation

The Dylan Alcott Foundation is a charitable organisation with the core purpose of helping young Australianss with disabilities gain confidence, fulfill their potential and achieve their dreams.

Alinta Energy Community Grants Program

Alinta Energy Community Grants are for projects that will demonstrate a positive impact on either: 
  • Social disadvantage (e.g. projects that assist members of the community in need); or
  • Environmental sustainability (e.g. projects that restore natural ecosystems, reduce the consumption of natural resources and/or reduce waste)
