Speaking Event in the Collaborative Commons
 
On Tuesday, February 21, from 1:30-2:15pm, the Collaborative Commons will be reserved for a speaking event as the Law School hosts Cheryl Brown. Ms. Brown’s father filed suit against the Topeka Board of Education on behalf of her and her sisters, and Ms. Brown will be discussing and answering questions regarding the historic Brown v. Board of Education case.

The Law Library is here to help you study for the bar exam! In addition to study space that has been set aside for February takers, the Law Library has recently updated the collection of Critical Pass Flashcards. They are currently available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

Faculty Research Series

PowerNotes

The Law Library will host PowerNotes for an online demo to the faculty on Thursday, February 9 from 12-1pm. PowerNotes is a tool to assist researchers with saving, annotating, organizing, and citing sources utilized from both legal research platforms (WestLaw & Lexis etc.) and the web. Outlook invites have been sent. Please reply to the previously sent Outlook invitation for more information. 

The Law Library will raffle off gift cards for those faculty members in attendance! 

 

In December & January, the Law Library added many new titles to the collection to support the research and curricular needs of our faculty and students.
