Our Affirmation of Welcome
Everyone is welcome at Saint Andrew's United Methodist Church. We seek to live our motto: "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors." We gather as the people of God with all our diversity, which we value, welcome, and celebrate as gifts of God. We believe all people are of sacred worth without regard to gender, race, sexual orientation, economic or family status, religion, ethnicity, or mental or physical abilities. We believe God loves everyone unconditionally.

PRAYER CONCERNS & PRAISES
Let us join with you in prayers of concern and joy. We will get it out to our community for prayer. This will strengthen, comfort, and connect us as we write our heart's journeys, read through other's needs, and pray together to our loving and faithful God Almighty. It's our time to rise up and connect through our prayers! What a witness in itself it shall be...

We celebrated Mother's Day with Hershey's Kisses to all the spiritual mothers in our faith family. In Sunday School, we painted glass votives and put tea lights in them to gift to our moms. And pictured below is our game of "That's My Kid!" where we put moms on the hot seat guessing what their child said to various questions. It was a hysterical time, and we got to know our moms even better!

We are a Safe Sanctuaries Church with every volunteer and staff member trained and approved. For questions or more information on Safe Sanctuaries or any of these news/events, please email Christy Little at hispreciouschild@msn.com.

This week we learned about the Helmet of Salvation. Pastor Walter taught us about this and shared his salvation experience with us. We celebrated the Offering and Holy Communion and closed by singing and signing "The Lord's Prayer."

MEALS FOR RANDY & HILDA WHITTINGTON
DATES TO HELP ARE STILL AVAILABLE
We are organizing to provide some meals for Randy and Hilda Whittington while they journey through this time of healing. They are so appreciative of the outpouring of love and support. They've shared that the meals have been delicious & so helpful during Randy's treatment. One thing that they've forgotten to mention is that they are both diabetic. Although they enjoy dessert, they aren't able to eat much. There are a few different options to select from. Please click the link below to view the details and options or to participate.
