PRAYER CONCERNS & PRAISES

Let us join with you in prayers of concern and joy. We will get it out to our community for prayer. This will strengthen, comfort, and connect us as we write our heart's journeys, read through other's needs, and pray together to our loving and faithful God Almighty. It's our time to rise up and connect through our prayers! What a witness in itself it shall be...

Children & Youth Ministry
OLDER CHILDREN
SELF-CONTROL...a Fruit of the Spirit and we focused on it today. We had a deep and transparent discussion about self-control! It means being able to control our thoughts, emotions, desires, and actions. We don't do just what is going to make us happy without first thinking about how it is going to affect others.

YOUNGER CHILDREN
Today we read about Moses. We sang a song about the Ten Commandments and made our own stone tablets. Then we had some great playtime together!

OUR PRAYERS TO GOD:
Please, God, continue to heal Uncle Johnny who is having health issues with his heart.
Please, God, help us all learn to turn to You for help in controlling ourselves.
Thank You for our veterans who protected and sacrificed for us!

Children enthusiastically tithed their service by collecting the Offering and serving as the Acolyte. In our Children's Moment, we recognized our veterans and gifted them with Lifesavers candy to thank them.
We are a Safe Sanctuaries Church with every volunteer and staff member trained and approved. For questions or more information on Safe Sanctuaries or any of these news/events, please email Christy Little at hispreciouschild@msn.com.
Saint Andrew's Day School
We wrapped up our series on the Fruit of the Spirit being thankful for God's Presence in our lives and for helping us to grow as we spend time with Him. We had a fun game of "Popcorn Brigade" to illustrate people and blessings. A lot of popcorn ended up on the floor and sometimes God gives us so many blessings it's more than we can even realize. If we don't take time to be grateful for those things or to focus on the beauty of each gift, we might miss it. We can't understand all He gives, and sometimes we even throw away or neglect His blessings rather than appreciating them. But if we are watching carefully, we can "catch" all sorts of delights!

Opportunities To Serve, Donate, & Bless

ANGEL TREE DONATIONS

The UMW has the Angel Tree tags available this Sunday for needy children. On the tags will be the age of the child, their clothing sizes, and their wish list. The Salvation Army representative did mention that we do not have to get everything on the tag - anything helps and is appreciated. The items are due by Monday, December 5, but can be turned in to the church sooner or the Salvation Army at the Hilltop Lane location. Please attach the card to the gifts and do not wrap them. If you have any further questions, please contact Cheryl at 410-533-7920.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

Do you play an instrument or love to sing? We would love for you to have the opportunity to share that gift God has given you to glorify and honor Him at our Christmas Eve Worship Service at 7PM. Please contact Christy (hispreciouschild@msn.com) by November 20, if you are interested.

HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE - FOOD PANTRY

The Holiday Food Drive was a huge success thanks to the church and school! The church came together and donated all of the turkeys and some of the extras. The school had a huge food drive for all the food for a proper Thanksgiving feast. We served 37 family units and have five extra turkeys that will be given out this week. Pictured are some of the donated turkeys, some of the extra items available, and some happy ladies being blessed.

SAINT ANDREW'S LUNCH GROUP

We were treated well! It was great company, great food, and a great time. Comfort food at its best from meatloaf to fried chicken to ribs. We hope you can join us for our December celebration.

OUR STAR SHINES

It is our very own Fred Filler! He is again leading the Heritage Harbour Players with his stage presence, experience, and magnificent acting. The play was called, "Whodunit" and was enjoyed by many.  Fred, you continue to awe us and do us proud! Thank you for sharing the fun with us! We love to cheer you on!

THANK YOU!

The long-awaited C-Container has arrived. This allows the Thrift Store to remain open and everyone to be safe while Schieke Hall is closed for needed repairs. We appreciate Mike Little's coordination.
