Our Affirmation of Welcome
Everyone is welcome at Saint Andrew's United Methodist Church. We seek to live our motto: "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors." We gather as the people of God with all our diversity, which we value, welcome, and celebrate as gifts of God. We believe all people are of sacred worth without regard to gender, race, sexual orientation, economic or family status, religion, ethnicity, or mental or physical abilities. We believe God loves everyone unconditionally.

PRAYER CONCERNS & PRAISES
|
|
|
Let us join with you in prayers of concern and joy. We will get it out to our community for prayer. This will strengthen, comfort, and connect us as we write our heart's journeys, read through other's needs, and pray together to our loving and faithful God Almighty. It's our time to rise up and connect through our prayers! What a witness in itself it shall be...

THE TRINITY
We began our time with the game "Use Your Brain" and the children were good at guessing my riddles with just three clues. We talked about the perfection of the Trinity - Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. We made the dough using three ingredients and compared the roles of the ingredients to the roles of God understanding, again, that this is not a perfect representation. Afterward, we shaped the dough into something that was affirming to the way God created each of the children and praised God for them.
Children joyfully tithed their service this week by helping with the collection of the Offering, assisting in serving Holy Communion, and as Acolyte.
CHILDREN'S PRAISE & CONCERNS:
- Thank You, God, for my family!
- Thank You, God, for my two brothers!
- Thank You, God, for the summertime.
- Thank You, God, for my life and the people in it.
- Thank You, God, for the honey bees that help make our food.
- Thank You, God, for healing my pinky finger!
- Please, God, help me to not be afraid of the loud clapping in church.
- Please, God, heal my grandma.
- Please, God, help the world find peace.

The PFA Voted on the End of Year Gift: Vote Passed - 8 Interactive Projectors
Nine projectors are needed to outfit every homeroom in the school. Each interactive projector costs approximately $3,425 (installed). To purchase the last projector needed, the PFA is sponsoring a special year-end campaign. Several families have already pledged $$ to this special campaign during last night’s General Meeting. Help us reach our goal!

We have a new structure for the Food Pantry Ministry. During the school year, the students will pack the bags for distribution. We are asking our ministry leaders to sign up their ministry teams to serve twice a year (or more) in passing out the food to our clients. It is a contactless delivery. Instructions detailing the duties will be emailed to all ministry leaders. We encourage our ministry leaders to tap team members to serve in this rewarding ministry! To sign up, click the Sign-Up Genius button below.
