Global Health Elective Participant Survey - RIM Project

Survey Closes: Oct 30, 2020 Did you participate in an undergraduate global health elective through the Dalhousie Global Health Office in the past 15 years? As a part of a research project, the effects of global health electives on participants future residency and career choices will be explored. Please consider completing the survey.

6th Khon Kaen University’s International Challenge on Emergency Medicine and Related Basic Science 2020 (KKU ICEM)

Application Deadline: Nov 2, 2020. Event Dates: Dec 5-13, 2020. Virtal competition. Each medical school can send up to only 2 representative teams, each team consists of 3 medical students to participate in the competition. Expressions of interest should be sent to Angela Day before Nov. 2, 2020.

Nov 5, 2020 @ 6:30pm AST, Virtual presentation We have invited four experts in Global Health for their thoughts on moving towards global health equity. This is a free public panel discussion with scholars and practitioners in global health.

2020 Award for Student Leadership in Global Health: The Dr. Ronald Stewart Award for Student Leadership in Global Health was established in 2006 and is presented, annually, to a student of Dalhousie Medical School or in the faculties of Health or Dentistry, who has demonstrated leadership in global health and a commitment to improving the health of marginalized communities during their time at Dalhousie.
