Sign up for the Panasonic Tour
Join RMAEE for Lunch and a Tour of Colorado’s first battery storage microgrid. 
Through a unique public/private partnership, Xcel Energy, Panasonic and Denver International Airport (DEN) developed and built the Panasonic Battery Demonstration Project.  The unique battery storage system aims to facilitate the integration of renewable energy, enhance reliability of the distribution system, assist in providing voltage management and act to reduce peak demand.  There will also be an opportunity to see Panasonic’s CityNow smart city Showcase. 
The tour will include:
  • Panasonic’s Network Operations Center (NOC)
  • Panasonic’s CityNow smart city Showcase
  • Carport solar and rooftop PV installations
  • Battery storage/microgrid system
Participation is limited to the first 50
people who register.  Sorry we cannot accept walk-ins on this tour.
Parking:    Available directly across the street from Panasonic at the DIA parking lot. cost $2.00 per car
Or you can join us via Rail travel:  RTD A-Line to 61st & Pena Station, then a short
2 minute walk from their station.

Mark your calendars! We are pleased to announce the above date and theme for this year’s RMAEE Energy Forum.

Plan now to join us for an informative day as RMAEE explores “Leading Edge Initiatives” Participants will receive 8 Professional Development Hours (equals 1.6 CEM credits or 0.8 Continuing Education Units) for renewing professional certifications.

This year’s Forum will focus on innovative technologies and initiatives driving our industry, along with presenting useful case studies. Dr. Roderick Jackson will be our keynote speaker. Dr. Jackson is the program manager for buildings-related research at the National Renewable Energy Lab. He works closely with senior laboratory management to set the strategic agenda for NREL's buildings portfolio, including all research, development, and market implementation activities, which aim to improve the energy efficiency of building materials and practices, including examples such as support of net zero energy districts.
