Welcome to our March newsletter! Thank you for reading and being with us here on the mission field in least-reached Southern Brazil. We would not be here without you!
Iguaçú Falls (above) is part of Southern Brazil and is in our state of Paraná. It borders the Argentinian province of Misiones. Today, the Iguaçú region, along with many other areas of the south, specifically the state of Rio Grande do Sul, is slowly being overtaken by growing Islam. Ministry is underway today to advance the Gospel and support front-line workers in these regions with in-person conferences and mentoring. Please pray for more workers and many to come to saving faith in Christ Jesus. Habakkuk Chapter 2, verse 14 says, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (ESV)

Thank you for your prayers for Brazil from February. Women of the Word begins teaching in Habakkuk. Pray for Regina and this third ministry year to be fruitful for God’s Kingdom. Pray for our physical and spiritual health.

|
Curitiba, Brazil – God blessed intense in-person ministry planning and mentoring. After-School program welcoming more children. Monthly travel – preaching, conferences, and mentoring scheduled April to November.

Focus
|
|
Our March focus is weekly online and in-person church planter mentoring for 2023. We provide biblically based tools and teaching, encouraging front-line workers in ways they get nowhere else. Pray for wisdom and direction.
|

|
Thanks to you, we're busier than ever on the mission field. Programs are expanding, with mentoring and teaching in full swing for 2023! Starting in April, we travel in the south each month until November. We have Women of the Word conferences planned, and Lee will preach and mentor in person in cities across southern Brazil. So please continue to lift us in prayer.

After prayer and discussion, one of our most significant ministry changes this month is the decision to take the pastoral reading program directly under our wings with a new program we created called "Read to Lead.” Through the new program, we're excited to provide another level of interaction with the pastors we mentor, combining focused reading with teaching. The books we choose will directly complement our mentoring and education. In addition, pastors' wives will also receive books. Finally, church plants will have opportunities to build lending and selling libraries to encourage reading, helping reinforce the importance of biblical health. Exciting!
We're thankful to report good news about our After School program in Joinville, SC. The program just signed a long-awaited contract with the local government. The agreement provides 80% of food and school materials and helps with key support staff. In addition, thanks to an end-of-year gift, we are researching locations, building expansion, and renovations permitting more children to join the program. Pray with us!
Our church planters are busy baptizing new believers, growing biblically, and reaching their communities with the Gospel. We have two church plants physically growing, thanks again to end-of-year gifts. Thank you! God is at work making new disciples in Southern Brazil.
