EAUX-FORTES
Kirill Zvegintsov

Kirill Zvegintsov, Special Distinction Prize - Samson François of the 13th International piano competition of Orléans 2018, released his first album thanks to the endowment fund Galaxie-Y and the Association Les Amis de Josette Samson François.

Release: 2019
Disques FY & Du Solstice (label)
An "imagination à la française" is existing, as shown by French printmaker Jacques Callot's etchings, woodland scenes by Corot and Watteau's distant landscapes, holding unconfessed mysteries, uncertainties and fears. Chimera is melancholy and illusion, and can also be terrifying. There is an odd violence hidden under strips in trills of the great Couperin. Debussy is moving masked. Jacques Lenot keeps jealously an inner sanctum and Georges Hugon, with an apparently destiny so smooth and tidy, evokes Shakespeare's shade to liberate his fantasies like Scarbo ones.
The endowment fund "Galaxie-Y", aside from its educational project about Kurtág's work, aims to relive with a collection in the making these French music pieces almost "antiques" or occasionally recents, in any case impetuously inspired.
