WebFest & Episodic

New at SIFF this year is our foray into episodic work. Over the weekend of June 1-3, SIFF will present a program of award-winning works from Denver's SeriesFest (June 1), new episodic work from WebFest (June 2), a forum of industry experts on episodic production, distribution and funding mechanisms, and the premiere of a locally produced web series, Automata (June 3).

In a sci-fi noir alternate version of Prohibition-era New York, a hard-boiled detective (Basil Harris, star of last year's audience favorite Rocketmen) is on a case to solve the murder of a wealthy businessman with the help of his sentient robot sidekick played by The Shape of Water's Doug Jones.
