Close-up on... our involvement in the Webhelp operation
Eight Advisory guided the Bruxelles Lambert Group (GBL) in its acquisition of the majority shareholding stake in Webhelp, a worldwide leader in customer experiences and the outsourcing of business processes (approx. €1.5 billion in revenue).
Eight Advisory jointly conducted the financial and fiscal due diligence steps, backed by its international network.
The financial due diligence team was headed by Eric Demuyt, Mathieu Morisot and François Gallizia.The Eight Advisory Tax team, under the supervision of Guillaume Rembry and Hubert Christophe, performed the fiscal due diligence in close coordination with local correspondents set up in 8 foreign jurisdictions. The Eight Advisory Tax teams in England (Dean Lake and Caley Mogg) and Germany (Jan-Ole Burchert and Manuel Wall) also took part in the handling of this transaction.

Just a few months after its founding, the Eight Advisory Tax firm has already amassed some 40 clients, with assignments spanning multiple subject areas related to the various client development stages, whether they entail foundational statutes or weighing the benefits of internal vs. external growth.

On the heels of last year's Frankfurt opening, Eight Advisory Germany has unveiled its new office in Munich, overseen by Marc Niclas. This expansion underscores 8A's significant penetration of the German market.

Eight Advisory undertook a major study, in collaboration with the JDD and IFOP polling institutes, using a panel of 3,000 individuals. 73 companies were ranked on the basis of 6 criteria (ability to: create jobs, directly improve day-to-day life, convey a positive image of France, innovate, make people want to work there and environmental responsibility).

The report indicates a correlation between level of competitiveness and economic openness coupled with the underlying social, political and environmental conditions.
Pascal Raidron and Alexis Karklins-Marchay were invited to present this report to the President's team at the “Palais de l’Elysée”.
