Ormond Netball Club has been successful in securing a Sporting Clubs Grant from the Victorian Government. We applied for and received $2000 for skills development. This money will be used towards providing first aid training for our coaches which was one of the main requests from last year's club survey. The first aid training will take place early in 2018.

To access the group, you will need to request to join - only ONC players and parents will be accepted.
To find the group you can search Ormond Netball Club - 2nd Hand Uniforms on Facebook, or click here.
Rules for buying and selling are outlined in the group info.
NETACISE RETURNS FOR SUMMER 2017
Some of our U25 and U17 players after a fun but gruelling Netacise session.
Following the success of Netacise during Winter 2017, the netball inspired fitness program has returned for the summer season for the Under 25 and (occasionally) U17 teams.
This season we are very fortunate to have Kim Commane (pictured second from left) running the training sessions. You may recognise Kim as she was a Vixens team member in 2016, ANL player since 2009 and a Swifts team member in 2012. We're excited about Kim bringing her vast experience to these fitness sessions.
ORMOND WHIRLWINDS SEMI-FINAL
Congratulations to the Ormond Whirlwinds who qualified for the finals in the open section of the Sandringham & District Netball Association spring season. Although the team battled hard, they unfortunately lost their semi-final match last weekend.
Team photos will be taken this Saturday for U13, U15, U17 and U25 teams. Details about the timing of each team's photo were sent out via email on Sunday.
Unfortunately, the photo sessions cannot be postponed. Absent players and coaches will be named in the team photo and will receive a copy on Presentation Day with the rest of the team.
Photos for U11 teams will take place after the school holidays on a date to be determined.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
Have you ever sat back and thought, “That could be done better”, or had an idea that you thought would improve the Club? Then, we need you to get involved!
The committtee is always in need of fresh voices. There are executive and general positions avaliable now or in 2018.
Being on the committee is not onerous or time consuming. Meetings are held approximately once every six weeks on a Monday night. All parents (dads as well as mums) and senior players over 18 are welcome to join. No experience necessary!
We also need volunteers to help with event organisation and other special projects, and would love to hear from any parents who might be interested in coaching or co-coaching next year.
Please consider joining to have a say on how the Club is run, help share the load and have some fun.
For more information about the available positions, or to discuss how you might be able to help, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
