🐴 Sunnyside Saddle Club, a family horseman’s club, was founded in the spring of 1963 when residents realized there was a definite need for organized horse activities in the Sweetwater Valley and surrounding areas.
Since its inception, the Sunnyside Saddle Club has provided non-professional riders in Southern California an opportunity to show their horses in a fun, relaxing, yet competitive environment. Six open shows and one gymkhana show are hosted every season, April through November. The show grounds are located at Rohr Park, address 4548 Sweetwater Road, Bonita, CA. Each show consists of exhibitors in over 30 classes, with several age specific classes for junior riders.
If you are a local equestrian, or just have a love for horses, Sunnyside Saddle Club will be hosting their next horse show for English and Western riders this Sunday, July 17th! *NOTE* When visiting the event please remember to keep our horses and riders safe by watching from a distance. Horses can be easily frightened by loud noises, moving vehicles, bicycles, fast moving pets, and energetic children. 🙏🏽

✨ Fun Fact ✨
🌳 Bonita & Sweetwater Valley communities were established by equestrian founders who sought to have neighborhoods with horse trails and horse-friendly spaces. Our organization (SVCA) works alongside Sunnyside Saddle Club and other like-minded groups to help "protect, preserve and promote Bonita" for generations to come.
