Kosher meals now available on campus!

We are pleased to let you know that fresh, pre-packaged kosher-certified meals will be available for sale in the Inn Between beginning on Monday, April 23. This trial program is the result of a collaborative effort of the Interfaith Advisory Committee, Aramark Catering, Student Union, members of the Divisions of Student Affairs and Mission and Identity, and Campus Ministry.

Selections of kosher meals, including salmon, beef, chicken and vegetarian, will be available for sale in the Inn Between. Meals are provided through the Star-K kosher certified facilities at Menorah Park.  There will be a designated refrigerator and a (new) designated microwave in the Inn Between.

Halal options continue to be explored.   If you observe halal, we hope you will try some of the kosher meals.

A survey will be available after the trial period to assess whether these offerings will continue next year.
Staff Awards nominations are still open! Please nominate a deserving colleague today!

"Recognition and respect of all members of the John Carroll University community are necessary and appropriate for the University to live up to its mission, vision, and core values. As one of the largest constituencies on the University campus (second only to students), the staff represents a highly diverse group of professionals whose contributions are critical to the quality, integrity, credibility and continued growth of the University. An informed, active, and engaged community, with the ability to participate and share its opinions and interests concerning the conduct of institutional affairs and life in the workplace, is critical to the mission of the University." -- Staff Council Constitution
