Wilhem Latchoumia, 1st Prize of the 7th International piano competition of  Orléans 2006, is coming back to Orléans as part of the 2020/2021 Matinées du piano season.

What a singular pianist: he serves contemporary creation and the great repertoire with as much pleasure as charisma. Creating programmes getting off the beaten track is the hallmark of the French musician, who makes an impression with his capacity of establishing immediately an exhilarating complicity with the audience.
Currently well-known on European stages and beyond, wherever he plays, the pianist from Lyon is impossible to feel indifferent about. A regular performer of prestigious French and international concert halls, Wilhem Latchoumia plays recital, concerto and chamber music in France and abroad.

From classical to contemporary music, by way of new cultural territories exploration, Wilhem Latchoumia doesn't close off avenues. With contemporary repertoire, the most prestigious composers weren't wrong about Latchoumia's talent. He especially worked with
Gilbert Amy, Pierre Boulez, John Cage, Francesco Filidei, Anthony Girard, Jonathan Harvey, Philippe Hersant, Michael Jarrell, Pierre Jodlowski, Frédéric Kahn, Christian Lauba, José Manuel Lopez-Lopez, Gérard Pesson, Karl Naegelen et Frédéric Pattar.

Twice laureate of the competition (2016 Chevillon-Bonnaud 3rd Prize and Maurice Ohana Prize in 2018), Julien Blanc is different from his involved performances of the contemporary repertoire which is central to his artistic career.

In September 2015, he joined the prestigious course of Artist and Interpreter Diploma at the CNSMD de Paris and got better beside famous pianists and French teachers like Michel Béroff, Denis Pascal or Florent Boffard.
Laureate of the "Concours Jeune Musicien" of Besançon too, Julien Blanc is led to perform as a soloist with different orchestral ensembles like La Camerata de Bourgogne, M'Sinfonia and the Ensemble Orchestral de Dijon.

He took part of various festivals, just as in recital (Festival international de Saint-Ursanne, Nuits Estivales du Grand Avignon) as in chamber music (Vacances de Monsieur Haydn, Midi-Musique, Brahmsiades…).
He shows a lively interest in contemporary musics that brought him to take part in different productions (L’Homme de Ciboure by Olivier Urbano in particular) and to collaborate with theatre companies like La Chambre aux échos and Cadrans. Alongside his piano studies, Julien Blanc dealt with musical composing in depth, getting the diploma DEM at the CRR of Dijon and a SACEM Prize in 2013.
