We hope you had a great March and enjoyed the beginnings of spring! March was Problem Gambling Awareness Month and was full of opportunities to raise awareness in Kansas. April is Alcohol Awareness Month and there are some great events coming up to help coalitions move forward with their prevention work.
PreventionTalKS, our monthly virtual learning collaborative, will take place at 12pm on Thursday, April 6th. PreventionWorKS, the coalition of coalitions, is meeting in Salina on April 20th. Throughout this month, there will be all kinds of things going on to raise awareness about underage drinking. April 6th is National Alcohol Screening Day. If you're hosting an event for Alcohol Awareness Month, make sure you submit it on our website so we can add it to the calendar!
Thanks for being our partners in Kansas' prevention work,
