WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR PDC

Dear WAAE Member,
The Executive Board is very excited to bring everyone together next week for our annual WAAE Professional Development Conference.  As we prepare for the conference I wish to share a few reminders with everyone:
  • Please remember this is a professional conference and we ask that you dress appropriately. Typically attire is business to business casual.
  • Onsite Registration: Early Bird - Sunday, 8-9 p.m.  and Monday 8-9 a.m. If you arrive after 9 a.m. you will need to stop by the WAAE Office/Headquarters to register.
    • Your Schedule & Fees: You can access your conference schedule and check your registration fees balance in your waae.com account. You’ll receive a copy of your schedule onsite. Any remaining registration fees must be paid when you register onsite.
  • New Conference Location: Radisson Paper Valley Hotel & Convention Center in Appleton.
  • The Conference Schedule is slightly different than in the past, so please review that here:  http://waae.com/events/ or on the App
    • This year's recreational activities are on Monday evening while the picnic supper is on Tuesday.
    • There is a post banquet social activity planned. We hope you are excited to explore!!!
  • Breakfast
    • Sunday night hotel guests: Breakfast available on Monday in Lombardi’s Restaurant in the hotel, beginning at 6:30 a.m.
    • Breakfast will be available for all conference participants the rest of the week. See your conference program for details.
  • NAAE National Convention: If you’re interested in attending, please fill out the registration form and bring with you to turn in to Leslie at PDC. We need these filled out before you leave PDC so we may get early bird registration pricing. For non-board members, there is a stipend to assist with travel expenses.
If there are any questions regarding PDC, please feel free to reach out to Troy Talford, WAAE President, or Leslie Svacina, WAAE Executive Director.

Thank you,
Troy Talford
2015-16 WAAE President
