Assistant Professor(s) of Music Education (Instrumental), Tenure-track
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a completed Ph.D. in Music Education by the start of the appointment, a minimum of three years documented successful public school teaching experience, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. Preferred qualifications include: a background in quantitative research, documented college teaching experience, and a background in instrumental music education. A strong background in technology also is desired. 
Position Expectations:
Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in music education and serving either as Director of Bands or as Director of the CWRU Marching Spartans, depending on qualifications and experience. Other duties may include supervision of undergraduate and graduate student teaching candidates and other teaching responsibilities as assigned. Teaching load is 2 courses per semester.
