Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Education - Instrumental Emphasis
Doctorate in Music Education preferred; ABD considered. Elementary/Secondary teaching experience.
Position Expectations:
The department seeks a committed, enthusiastic, active specialist in instrumental music education. Teach courses in elementary and secondary music methods and instrumental techniques, conduct concert band, and observe student teachers. Other teaching duties based upon expertise, i.e. chamber music, music appreciation, world music, popular music, digital media, conducting, theory fundamentals, musical theatre. Participate fully in departmental activities. Strong recruiting skills required.
