Call for Research Proposals: The ArkMEA Research Chair announces a call for research poster presentations at the ArkMEA Fall Professional Development Conference, Nov.3 & 4, 2016. The conference provides opportunities for conference attendees to interact with researchers in poster sessions. Research from undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty members is encouraged. In-progress work will also be considered.

Researchers whose work is selected are required to (a) register for and attend the ArkMEA conference, (b) prepare a poster display of their research, and (c) be available the poster session (Friday, Nov. 4) to discuss their work with interested ArkMEA members.

300 word abstract
Topics Sought:
Any topic related to music education
Submission Information:
Submission instructions: Submit your Abstract (300 words or less) to scookcunningham@uca.edu with the subject heading "ArkMEA Research Submission." In the body of the e-mail, indicate the author's name(s), institutional affiliation, telephone number, and preferred e-mail address. Please specify if the researcher is an undergraduate, masters, doctoral student, or faculty member.

Attach your Abstract to the email. The abstract should state the purpose of the research, the research questions, and how results (or anticipated results for in-progress work) relate to practice. Submitters should include no identifying information within the body of attached documents.
