The editorial board of the Media Journal in Music Education invites submissions of 5-7 minute videos on topics including (1) the connection of research to practice, (2) unpacking philosophical/conceptual work for music teachers, and (3) the chronicling of both adaptive and innovative music making and teaching practices for the field of music education. Please visit www.mjme.net to sample the unique quality of the submissions that are now making up Volume 1 of the journal. The window that the videos provide into the work of contributors, while differing greatly across submissions, is a valuable alternate way of experiencing knowledge that would not be the same via traditional means.
