Assistant Professor--Choral Music Education/Conducting
Doctorate in music education; candidates with completed doctoral coursework considered. Successful teaching and conducting experience in choral music at the elementary/secondary level is required (minimum three years), with additional experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Position Expectations:
The Ithaca College School of Music announces a full-time, tenure-eligible position in choral music education/conducting at the rank of assistant professor. Duties will include conducting two choral ensembles, teaching choral conducting, and teaching a choral rehearsal lab. Other duties may include teaching undergraduate and graduate music education courses based on candidate expertise or program needs.
