July arrived full of exciting news for Regions4!

Regions4 at the Bonn Climate Change Conference

The SB50 took place on 17 - 27 June in Bonn, Germany. Regions4 Secretariat participated bringing the voice of regional governments, specifically on the dialogues about adaptation, presenting the reporting process of the RegionsAdapt initiative and its members' climate actions.

On the road to SBSTTA 23 

The Advisory Committee on Subnational Governments to Biodiversity is preparing to feed the discussions on the development of the post-2020 biodiversity framework and the dialogue to be held during SBSTTA 23 with a report being developed by R4BLP and University Catolica de Santos on mainstreaming biodiversity.

Latin America & Caribbean Climate Week

The Latin America & Caribbean Climate Week will take place on the 19 - 23 August in Salvador, Brazil as part of the Regional Climate Weeks. Discussions will feed the inputs for the UN Climate Summit on 23 September. We encourage all our Latin American members to participate.

We continue to share the RegionsAdapt Challenge of the month where regions can share their adaptation actions on a short video format. On this occasion, we present Sao Paulo's Nascentes Program (Water Spring Recovery Program) for the recovery of riparian forests.
