Perspective Online, Perkins School of Theology SMU
Welcome to Perkins Perspective Online, our monthly e-magazine with updates and information on the Perkins community!

Perkins oversaw the distribution of Luce Grant funds in 2020 to aid churches and nonprofits during the pandemic; we have a roundup of all the great work that resulted. Meet the three recipients of the 2021 Seals Laity Award and find out why James Lee’s class was “Zoom-bombed” with a surprise announcement. Hear some good news from Perkins’ Baptist House of Studies: a grant from the Baugh Foundation, and a new Baptist Concentration. Plus, student and faculty profiles, alumni/ae news and much more.

We hope you’ll enjoy this edition. Let us know if you have news you’d like to share.
