Perspective Online, Perkins School of Theology SMU
Welcome to Perkins Perspective Online, our e-magazine with updates and information on the Perkins community!

The Perkins community bid farewell to the graduating class of 2021 on May 14-15 with a Perkins worship service and University-wide Commencement ceremony; we have a roundup and photos from the events.  Perkins faculty recently approved the launch of a Black/Africana Church Studies Program; we have a report. We begin a new series of Alum profiles, with a spotlight on Ed Robb, retiring senior pastor of The Woodlands United Methodist Church. Plus, a student profile, faculty and alumnae/i updates, a preview of upcoming Annual Conferences, and more.

We hope you’ll enjoy this edition. Let us know if you have news you’d like to share.
