National Level 2 Tournament at Harrison Wins Award

The United States Tennis Association - Georgia district recently named their 2019 state awards, and Cobb PARK's Harrison Tennis Center received an award for their junior tournament - the 'National Level 2' tournament held for 12 and under in May of 2019. The "2019 USTA-Georgia Junior Tournament of the Year" was presented to the USTA sanctioned tournament that exceeds expectations with regards to tournament organization, play, hospitality and facility amenities. Accepting the award was Wayne Miller, the Harrison Tennis Center facility manager and the Tournament Director of the tournament.

Harrison Tennis Center has hosted this spring national tournament annually since 2004 (with the exception of a few years when the USTA reorganized their schedule). The facility will host the event once again this May, from May 16-18. This is a great opportunity to see some of our country's best up-and-coming players. Admission is free.

Central Aquatic Center to Close for Maintenance

The Central Aquatic Center will be closed for maintenance from March 2 to 29. During this time, we will be replacing our de-humidification system, HVAC units, and performing routine maintenance in the facility. These changes will improve our ability to maintain the air quality in the natatorium and keep a comfortable environment for our patrons.  We apologize for any inconvenience and we will keep you posted on our website and on social media. For more information, see this YouTube video.
