BRIEF FILED FOR "TRANSITION ÉNERGÉTIQUE QUÉBEC"
The IET submitted a brief as part of the consultation launched by Transition énergétique Québec (TEQ), prior to the development of its first master plan.

Entitled "Le rôle de l’université dans la stratégie de transition énergétique", the document presents the recommendations of the Academic Director and the Executive Director of the IET, Normand Mousseau and Louis Beaumier, in order to promote the achievement of energy targets set by the government.

SEMINAR ON TRANSPORTATION AND CLIMATE POLICY
 
The Public Seminar on Transportation and Climate Policy JCCTRP was held on November 2, 2017, at Polytechnique Montréal.

This seminar was organized as part of the Joint Clean Climate Transport Research Partnership (JCCTRP) workshop.

The IET of Polytechnique Montréal invites applicants to apply for the position of Senior Visiting Professor or Senior Visiting Scholar for the academic year 2018–2019. The term of this position will not exceed twelve (12) months.

HYDRO-QUÉBEC SCHOLARSHIPS

Congratulations to the nine graduate students of Polytechnique Montréal who received a Hydro-Québec 2017 Excellence Grant. A total of $ 165,000 will be awarded to support their research project related to sustainable development and energy.
